The BRED Series rods (BardeRodz Engineered & Designed - Mass Produced Rods) come with a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty coverage is limited to the original owner and requires proof of purchase for validation.
Our custom-ordered rods, engineered, designed, and handcrafted by BardeRodz, are protected by a three (3) year limited warranty from the date of purchase. As with our BRED Series, this warranty is limited to the original owner and requires proof of purchase.
Warranty registration is required within 60 days of purchase date to be eligible for coverage. Register your rod on our website.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance. BardeRodz will repair or replace, at our discretion, any rod that proves defective in material or workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period.
The warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Misuse, abuse, or neglect
• Accident or improper handling
• Normal wear and tear
• Fire, theft, or loss
• Acts of God
• Shipping damage
• Damage from boat flips or snags
• Purchase from unauthorized resellers
To initiate a warranty claim, submit the warranty claim form through our website. You will then need to return the damaged rod to BardeRodz (shipping address will be provided upon claim submission). Please include your warranty registration confirmation and proof of purchase with your return. Allow up to 5 business days for response once your claim is received.
Warranty replacements for custom handcrafted rods require a $95 replacement fee plus shipping costs. The original rod must be returned for inspection, and any replacement rod will be built to the original specifications.
For BRED Series rods, a $50 replacement fee plus shipping costs applies. The original rod must be returned for inspection.
BardeRodz reserves the right to replace discontinued models with comparable models. Colors and components may vary between original and replacement parts. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so limitations may not apply.

BardeRodz reserves the right to modify this warranty policy at any time. The warranty in effect at the time of purchase will apply to your rod.
