Warranty, shipping, and return information for all BardeRodz products.
The BRED Series rods (BardeRodz Engineered & Designed) come with a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty coverage is limited to the original owner and requires proof of purchase for validation.
Our custom-ordered rods, engineered, designed, and handcrafted by BardeRodz, are protected by a three (3) year limited warranty from the date of purchase. As with our BRED Series, this warranty is limited to the original owner and requires proof of purchase.
Warranty registration is required within 60 days of purchase date to be eligible for coverage. Register your rod using our online warranty registration form.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance. BardeRodz will repair or replace, at our discretion, any rod that proves defective in material or workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period.

To initiate a warranty claim, submit the warranty claim form through our website. You will then need to return the damaged rod to BardeRodz (shipping address will be provided upon claim submission). Please include your warranty registration confirmation and proof of purchase with your return. Allow up to 5 business days for response once your claim is received.
Warranty replacements for custom handcrafted rods require a $95 replacement fee to start and may be higher depending on custom rod specifications, plus shipping costs. The original rod must be returned for inspection, and any replacement rod will be built to the original specifications.
For BRED Series rods, a $50 replacement fee plus shipping costs applies. The original rod must be returned for inspection.
BardeRodz reserves the right to replace discontinued models with comparable models. Colors and components may vary between original and replacement parts. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
All rods will be shipped USPS, UPS or FedEx to the address indicated. Shipping starts at $45.00 flat rate for one rod. Oversized rods (shipping box over 93 inches) may incur additional charges. Rods 8 feet or over cannot be shipped — they are available for pickup only.
The production schedule of fishing rod blanks and components can also impact delivery. Some options may add additional time to the delivery date.
Please file shipping damage claims immediately with the carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx).
All sales are final. No returns or exchanges on any rod due to the custom nature of the product. If you have any concerns, please contact us before purchasing.
All damaged rod claims must be filed with the carrier.
BardeRodz reserves the right to modify this warranty policy at any time. The warranty in effect at the time of purchase will apply to your rod.
